It’s a 1996 Spartan Ferrara Rescue Pumper that’s up for grabs at $29,000. This rig has seen some action but still looks solid. It’s got a Cummins 8.3L engine pumping out 325 horsepower with just over 6,200 engine hours on it. The Allison transmission is a workhorse, and it’s equipped with front tires sized at 12R22.5 and rear tires at 11R22.5. The Q2 siren and air horns in the bumper give it that classic fire truck sound, while the Kussmaul battery charger ensures you’re always ready to roll. The pump is a Waterous model capable of pushing 1250 gallons per minute, which is nothing to sneeze at. It comes with three 1 ½” pre-connects, two 2 ½” discharges on the left, one on the right, and another on the rear. There’s also a 4” discharge on the right side and an Akron deck gun mounted on top, which will stay with the truck. Under the hood, there’s a 500-gallon poly water tank, giving it decent capacity for firefighting operations. The overall length is 32 feet, and it stands 9 feet 6 inches tall, making it fairly compact for urban environments. Inside, it can seat five people in the cab, with four additional SCBA seats. Lighting includes the Night Fighter 12-volt scene lights, perfect for illuminating those late-night calls.
