Forest Park Box Alarm 11-30-13

Forest Park firefighters were called to 7515 W. Roosevelt tonight for a reported kitchen fire. When crews arrived, flames were already visible coming from the roof of a large, three-story, L-shaped apartment building. The incident commander immediately ordered a Box Alarm. Forest Park Engine 402 made a quick entry onto the third floor and quickly knocked down the main fire. It was a fast response, and the crew did an excellent job containing the blaze before it could spread further. Here are some of my photos from the scene.
