This is from Martin Nowak:
At around 1:58 PM on Wednesday, the Bridgeview Fire Department responded to a dryer fire at the Bridgeview Inn Motel located at 10030 S Harlem Ave in Bridgeview, IL 60455. Engine 425 was the first unit on scene. Shortly after, Ambulance 406 and Engine 405 arrived with Battalion Chief 40. About five minutes later, A426 showed up.
Mutual aid came from North Palos and Roberts Park. From North Palos, they sent Battalion Chief 8, Ladder 804, and A8R2. The ambulances were staged across the street on 100th Place. Roberts Park was also stationed on 100th Place, just a bit further down the block. Roberts Park deployed Engine 3R, as Ladder 31 was out of service and their crew was using a reserve engine.
As Ladder 804 was being set up, crews received orders to return to their stations. Here are some photos I captured during the response.

It’s always interesting to see how quickly emergency services respond and how multiple departments coordinate during an incident. I was lucky to be nearby and able to document the scene.
