More photos from the commercial fire in Chicago that took place on March 3, 2021.
From Chi-Town Fire Photos:
On Wednesday, we were on the south side when Battalion 19 reported a fire at 61st and Halsted. The first-arriving units saw smoke coming from the roof of a one-story strip mall measuring 50 by 150 feet. Engine 116 had two lines stretched, and Truck 51 was already cutting holes in the roof. Due to rapidly changing fire conditions, Battalion 19 ordered everyone to pull back and go defensive, which led to the deployment of the Still & Box. In total, four engine lines were stretched by Engines 116 and 84. Squad 5's Snorkel and TL 39 worked with their master streams to bring down the bulk of the fire.
