More photos from the commercial fire that broke out in Chicago on March 3, 2021.
From Chi-Town Fire Photos:
On Wednesday, we were on the South Side when Battalion 19 reported a fire at 61st and Halsted. The first-arriving units saw smoke coming from the roof of a one-story strip mall measuring 50 by 150 feet. Engine 116 deployed two lines, while Truck 51 was cutting holes in the roof. Due to rapidly changing conditions, Battalion 19 ordered everyone to pull back and go defensive, which brought in the Still & Box. In total, four engine lines were deployed by Engines 116 and 84. Squad 5's Snorkel and TL 39 used their master streams to knock down the bulk of the fire.
