Working fire in Des Plaines, 7-7-20

Des Plaines firefighters were called to 701 Albany Lane just after noon on Tuesday following reports of a fire. Upon arrival, crews found flames in the attic and extending through the roof of a two-story home. Firefighters quickly contained the blaze within 20 minutes, and out-of-town units were released shortly after arriving at the staging area. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no injuries have been reported so far.
