This message comes from Eric Haak:

Just before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27th, a fire broke out at the Midway Windows and Doors warehouse in the Village of Bedford Park. From what I could see, it started as an exterior fire that burned through the metal-clad walls, igniting the interior inventory and shelving. It looked like the fire was being fed by some kind of petroleum-based material, which made it particularly dangerous. Firefighters used foam to eventually bring the flames under control, though the fire flared up more than once during the operation.

Looking at the images, it's hard to tell exactly how intense the initial fire was, but from my vantage point, it appeared extremely hot—so hot, in fact, that it caused the metal panels to fail, allowing the fire to spread into the building’s structure. This is all based on my personal observations and not confirmed by any official sources. Please take this with a grain of salt and refer to local authorities for accurate details.
