These Towable Electromagnetic Sweepers are crafted to collect ferrous debris from various surfaces like airport runways, roads, ports, parking lots, and warehouses. At their core lies an advanced electromagnetic block designed to create a powerful magnetic field capable of attracting and holding both large and small ferrous metals.

Bunting's Towable Electromagnetic Sweepers Tailored for an Indonesian Airport

When in use, the sweeper attaches easily to the back of a vehicle—be it a service truck or an SUV. With its sturdy wheels and user-friendly tow hitch, the main magnetic block ensures a fast and secure connection. As it operates, the sweeper lifts ferrous metal debris off the ground and onto its magnetic surface. Inside the vehicle cabin, accessible controls allow the operator to activate or deactivate the magnet, enabling the swift release of trapped debris.

Designed for outdoor environments, these sweepers work best when towed at speeds between 5 and 6 mph. They come in multiple widths, ranging from 1200mm to 2440mm, and can be customized to fit specific needs.

The three sweepers ordered for Indonesia each have a magnetic width of 2440mm and weigh about 1500 kg. A 220VAC generator powers the electromagnet, paired with a gasoline-driven Honda engine enclosed in a protective frame. The start and stop buttons include auto-reverse functionality, aiding in the lifting and releasing of captured metal scraps. A rotating beacon atop the control panel indicates the magnet's operational state visually.
