From Tim Olk: Subject: Chicago Fire Department Responds to Box Alarm at 1058 N Karlov Hi everyone, Just witnessed and captured some photos of the fire department in action last night. A still or box alarm call brought them out to 1058 North Karlov Avenue. It’s always impressive to see how quickly they respond and how well-coordinated their efforts are. Here's a quick look at what I managed to snap while the firefighters were hard at work. The Tower Ladder 14 from the Chicago Fire Department was particularly noticeable as it played an important role on the scene. [Attached is a photo of Tower Ladder 14 at work, credited to Tim Olk.] I also took a series of additional images that you can view below. These pictures give a sense of the scale and intensity of the situation, even though everything seemed under control by the time I arrived. [Gallery thumbnails displaying multiple photos] Each image shows different angles and moments throughout the event. If you'd like to see these photos in a slideshow format, just click on the link provided. It’s always humbling to watch professionals handle emergencies with such precision and care. Kudos to all the firefighters who were there! Let me know if you have any questions about the photos. Best regards, Tim Olk P.S. Special thanks to the brave men and women of the Chicago Fire Department for keeping our community safe.
