Recently, the Institute of Magnetic Physics and Magnetic Technology at the School of Fluid Power and Control, Lanzhou University of Technology, has successfully developed a new induction ring asynchronous high-temperature magnetic pump. This innovative device is designed to handle highly hazardous materials such as flammable, explosive, toxic, and corrosive substances, while ensuring complete leak-proof performance. It allows for the safe and environmentally friendly transportation of media under pure conditions, even at temperatures as high as 450°C without the need for additional cooling systems. This pump is particularly suitable for industries that require precision and safety, including chemical processing, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, film copying, electroplating, nuclear power, vacuum technology, semiconductor manufacturing, and food production. One of its key advantages is its soft start feature, which makes it ideal for handling viscous liquids with ease and efficiency. Currently, this advanced technology is only mastered by the British company HMD on a global scale, and there are no domestic manufacturers in China capable of producing similar high-performance pumps. The development of this technology marks a significant breakthrough for Chinese research institutions in the field of magnetic pumping systems, opening up new possibilities for industrial applications and enhancing safety standards in critical sectors.
