The cost of new mold development has been significantly reduced from $300,000–$600,000 to around $140,000, which lowers the entry barrier for new product development.
Unlike other production lines that require large, long-term orders, Xinli can handle smaller batches efficiently, allowing companies to test new ideas without heavy financial commitments. This flexibility plays a crucial role in accelerating innovation and helping new products gain a foothold in the market. By reducing development costs, the line helps Chinese manufacturers compete more effectively at the high-end level.
As one of Truly's main businesses, the mobile phone display module benefits greatly from this production line. When there is a shortage in the market, the TFT line can act as an emergency backup, ensuring a stable supply for domestic consumers.
The successful operation of the Truly TFT production line makes the company the only global manufacturer capable of producing all types of small-size flat panel displays.
