Yanzhou Petrochemical has implemented a four-in-one inspection mechanism that integrates self-inspection by grassroots units, weekly inspections by professional teams, monthly evaluations by functional departments, and supervision by the publicity department. This comprehensive approach continuously enhances equipment and on-site management, improves inspection quality, and strengthens the service functions of all departments. The goal is to ensure smooth equipment operations and efficient site management.
Each workshop conducts regular self-inspections under the leadership of the workshop director and technical staff, following established equipment inspection standards. These include pre-shift checks, in-shift inspections, and daily monitoring by equipment supervisors. Any issues identified during these inspections are addressed promptly. If immediate resolution isn’t possible, the relevant functional departments are responsible for implementing corrective actions.
Weekly professional inspections are led by departmental leaders who conduct on-site checks of 4–5 pieces of equipment. The focus is on identifying and addressing "low, old, and dirty" issues related to safety, equipment performance, and on-site management. In addition, professional engineers collaborate with subcontractors to enhance on-site control, such as ensuring cleanliness after construction and regularly assessing construction quality and site tidiness. This helps maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
Monthly inspections by functional departments involve large-scale reviews of production equipment and systems. The motorization department leads these efforts, focusing on equipment operation status, spare parts availability, lubrication practices, and on-site conditions. Identified problems are categorized and corrected accordingly, with strict adherence to the economic responsibility system for assessments.
The publicity department’s role includes monitoring video footage and exposing “low-quality and outdated†issues during weekly meetings. On-site problems are highlighted, and top management reviews them at the meeting. The progress of rectification is reported, and performance appraisals are strengthened. Management responsibilities are held accountable, and production management levels are further evaluated to uncover deeper operational challenges and support ongoing reforms.
By implementing this integrated inspection system, Yanzhou Petrochemical ensures a closed-loop management process, significantly improving on-site management and laying a solid foundation for safe and efficient production.
