China Automotive Group and its headquarters in Sri Sri Elliomers have signed a memorandum of understanding to form a tire recycling joint venture.
Sri Elastomers has the technology and expertise to recycle used tires and other rubber products. The company has desulfurization technology to produce new rubber compounds.
The goal of the MOU is to establish a joint venture with Sri Elastomers to commercialize the technology in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China. The two sides plan to build a factory to recycle used tires and other rubber products to produce rubber compounds.
