It is reported that Nantong COSCO Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. has recently shipped a set of NE169 hatch covers for Nantong COSCO Kawasaki Co., Ltd. 36MPV multi-purpose vessel. The successful production and delivery of the cover captain has accumulated experience for the company to produce such large-sized hatch covers in the future, improving the process and improving the level.
The NE169 hatch cover is different from the hatch cover of the bulk carrier made in the past. This type of hatch cover is complex in structure and is divided into two types: the main deck and the dimethyl plate. The weight of the single body is large, and the heaviest single piece is more than 60 tons. Production and installation, especially the terminal shipping has increased the trouble. After the cooperation between the company's technical department, the procurement department, and the production workshops, the NE169 was finally delivered successfully.
