According to the relevant staff of the company, Beijing will implement the national VW and diesel quality standards in March 2012, and the country's five quality standards require the sulfur content of diesel fuel to be less than 10ppm. As a major supplier to the capital's oil products market, Yanshan Petrochemical's diesel quality is produced according to the Beijing-based vehicle diesel standard currently implemented in Beijing. Diesel fuel sulfur content is less than 50ppm. In order to adapt to the capital's oil quality upgrade plan, Yanshan Petrochemical further expanded its diesel refining and desulfurization capacity and built a new diesel hydrogenation unit.
It is understood that for a long time, Yanshan Petrochemicals has been committed to upgrading the quality of oil products. The company took the lead in realizing lead-free gasoline in 1997. By 2004, it will achieve Euro II standards and Euro III standards in 2005, starting from January 1, 2008. Yanshan Petrochemical began to supply Beijing Standard 4 to the capital market, which is equivalent to the four standard diesel standard for vehicles. It leads the way in the country and has completed the oil upgrading of the developed countries for more than 20 years in 10 years. At the beginning of April, Yanshan Petrochemical successfully produced 20 tons of test diesel fuel for the No. 5 country. After testing, the oil performance indicators fully meet the quality requirements of the country's five diesel oil. Among them, the key indicator sulfur content is 4ppm, far lower than the national V10ppm indicator upper limit, more clean and environmentally friendly. The successful trial production of this oil product created favorable conditions for Beijing to implement the national five-diesel standard in March 2012.
