1. Overview of Mining Equipment Wet Magnetic Separator
• The wet magnetic separator is a device designed to assist in the purification and separation of process streams. It is commonly used in mining industries and smaller versions are also employed in scientific laboratories for processing various samples. This machine can separate raw materials based on their magnetic properties, operating under both magnetic and mechanical forces.
• It is applied in the tailing disposal or purification process of fine-grained weak-magnetic minerals such as limonite, hematite, manganese ore, titanium ore, etc., as well as in the deironing process of non-metallic minerals like andalusite, sillimanite, kyanite, garnet, feldspar, quartz, zircon, corundum, diamond, etc. It also helps eliminate weak magnetic impurities from other materials.

The magnetic system uses high-quality ferrite materials or rare earth magnets, with an average magnetic induction of up to 800-4000mT. The separator can be designed as a roll-shaped unit, increasing the magnetic strength to 8000mT, which is currently the highest magnetic field strength in the world.
3. Working Principle of Mining Equipment Wet Magnetic Separator
• The pulp flows into the cell body from the pulp box, and under the water flow from the feeding spray pipe, the mineral particles enter the feeding area of the cell body in a loose condition.
• In the magnetic field, magnetic ore particles gather and form magnet groups or chains influenced by the magnetic force within the pulp, moving toward the magnetic pole and finally being absorbed onto the cylinder.
