DESCRIPTION
The 2SK Series Two-Stage Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps are designed to perform efficiently, similar to two SK series water ring vacuum pumps. Due to the limitations of SK series pumps in achieving high vacuum levels (maximum of -700 mmHg), China developed the 2SK series water ring vacuum pump in the 1980s to meet the demand for higher vacuum and greater pumping speed under high vacuum conditions.

It can operate effectively in harsh conditions. FEATURES 1. The SK and 2SK series water ring vacuum pumps are suitable for exhausting both ordinary gases and condensable gases (such as water vapor). They have the feature of isothermal compression, allowing them to safely exhaust flammable and explosive gases. When made from anti-corrosion materials, they can also be used for corrosive gases. 2. The 2YK series liquid ring vacuum pumps offer higher vacuum performance and broader applicability. With the right working media, they can handle different types of gases, making them more versatile. 3. These pumps run smoothly with low noise and energy consumption. APPLICATIONS
This pump can be applied in vacuum drying, vacuum degassing, vacuum concentration, vacuum evaporation, and vacuum impregnation processes in chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgy, food, medicine, textile, papermaking, and electrical industries. It can be combined with Roots Vacuum Pumps and atmospheric jet pumps to achieve high vacuum, high efficiency, and low power consumption.

Regular Selection for Water/Liquid Ring Vacuum Pump 1. Based on the vacuum value: (1) If the pump operates for long periods with inlet pressure between 1.3×10â´~1×10âµ Pa (between 100 and 760 Torr), choose the SK series water ring vacuum pump. (2) For inlet pressures between 5×10³~1.3×10â´ Pa (between 40 and 100 Torr), select the 2SK series. (3) For pressures between 1×10³~1.3×10â´ Pa (between 8 and 100 Torr), use the 2YK series. 2. Working Media: Choose based on four principles: lower saturated steam pressure, lower viscosity, stable physical/chemical properties, and cost-effectiveness. If using water, the best supply temperature should be ≤15°C, with a maximum of 40°C. For transformer oil or other low-viscosity industrial oils, the supply temperature should not exceed 40°C, and the internal pump chamber temperature should not go above 60°C. In special cases, a cooling unit may be required. 3. Choose dynamic seal of the shaft: Use packing seals in general situations; mechanical seals when no leakage is required. 4. Choose the material of parts that the gas passes through: Non-anti-corrosion pumps: shaft made of 45# steel or 40Cr, others from cast iron or brass. Anti-corrosion pumps: stainless steel 304 or 306, or suitable corrosion-resistant materials. 5. Motor selection: When the outlet pressure exceeds 0.15 MPa, a special double-stage liquid ring compressor should be selected instead of a refitted vacuum pump. 6. Composition methods of the water ring vacuum pump system: Open circulation systems are used if the working liquid does not need to be circulated. Closed systems are used if the working liquid must be recycled.
