The overall ranking of the battery industry in our province ranks at the middle and upper level in China, and has a number of leading enterprises such as Ningde New Energy, Fuzhou Scud, and Xiamen Hua Li. In recent years, they have made efforts in the field of new batteries, and some enterprises have reached the domestic advanced level or close to the world advanced level. In order to further promote the overall improvement of the battery industry in our province, in 2009, under the leadership of Xiamen University, a coalition of almost all battery companies and related universities and research institutes in the province--Fujian Province new battery industry technology innovation strategic alliance came into being . Seven years later, the strategic alliance has grown from 15 members at the beginning of the establishment to 26 members. The alliance members have cooperated in R&D, regularly exchanged information, and shared information, talents, innovation platforms, large-scale equipment and other resources. Keep releasing.
Recently, Xiamen University, Xiamen Huali Energy Co., Ltd., and Scud (Fujian) Electronics Co., Ltd. jointly announced and assumed the implementation of the provincial special project - the development and industrialization of lithium ion system for pure electric vehicles entered the mid-term acceptance stage. "The biggest feature of the new generation of high-energy-density power-type lithium-ion batteries is that the energy density is greatly improved. It is expected that the battery with the same volume will increase the mileage of the car by more than 50%." This means that once the new products are mass-produced, the Fujian battery industry and even the entire new energy automobile industry will take a new step.
In this technical breakthrough, the tripartite division of labor is clear: Xiamen University is responsible for the study of safety materials and battery safety cycle life prediction, Hua Li is responsible for the development of the core of the battery - the core part of the development, the Scud is responsible for later integration. The cooperation between the three companies was facilitated by the strategic alliance of the provincial new battery industry technology innovation.
According to industry insiders, the project brings together the elites of the new battery in the province, and the effect is naturally "1+1+1>3".
As a representative of new energy companies, Xiamen Huali Energy is the creator of many “firsts” in the industry – assisting Xiamen Jinlong to develop the first pure electric bus in the province; together with Xiamen Golden Brigade to build the first pure electric solar energy in China. Since 2010, the strategic alliance has held an annual meeting, inviting domestic and foreign experts to make academic reports, and peering together to exchange industry-leading technology trends.
On the other hand, strategic alliances also actively provide suggestions for government departments to promote the development of new energy industries. In 2012, it submitted two research reports on the research and development of power battery production and the research and development of lithium-ion battery materials in Fujian. In 2014, the relevant research report was submitted to the province and the “2014 Special Recommendation for Science and Technology in Fujian Province” was established. Promote the development of the major provincial project “Lithium Ion System R&D and Industrialization Project for Pure Electric Vehicles”. For enterprises, many companies find their future strengths in participating in the alliance.
