A two-and-a-half story main building was involved in a fire at 5318 Laflin. The situation is currently under control, and there are no reported injuries so far. Firefighters are working defensively to contain the blaze.
The incident occurred around 2:11 AM at 5318 Laflin. The structure has been fully engulfed, but thanks to the use of a water curtain, a third building nearby was successfully protected from the flames. The main fire building suffered heavy damage, with thick smoke visible from several blocks away.
Firefighters are still on scene, working to prevent the fire from spreading further. Residents in the area have been advised to keep windows closed and stay indoors until the situation stabilizes.
