The Shanghai Shenlong bus purchased by the Dakar Dalm-Dick Motor Company in Senegal recently was highly praised by local users. The Serbian side stated that it will use the Chinese government’s concessional loans to order 235 identical passenger cars from Shenlong to improve the state of public transportation in Dakar and other cities.
Senegal’s President Abdoulaye Wade took a test on the 28th and praised the quality of Chinese buses. He said: "I am very satisfied with the Chinese-made passenger cars. We will order more than 200 such buses from China to renew our old buses."
Christian Salvi, general manager of Dakar-Dame-Dick Company, said: “This Chinese bus is based on the traffic conditions in Dakar. It is very comfortable and has first-rate safety equipment. Ventilation and information displays are perfect."
