On Saturday afternoon, May 21, 2016, Northbrook firefighters were called to the intersection of Dundee and Waukegan Roads after a serious collision occurred between a car and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was thrown through the windshield of the vehicle and was conscious when emergency crews arrived on the scene. After being carefully extricated by the firefighters, the rider was stabilized and transported to Lutheran General Hospital for further evaluation.
