On Saturday afternoon, May 21, 2016, Northbrook firefighters were called to the intersection of Dundee and Waukegan Roads following a serious collision between a car and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was thrown through the windshield of the vehicle and was conscious when emergency responders carefully extracted him. He was then transported by ambulance to Lutheran General Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
