Farmyard fertilizers cannot be mixed with alkaline fertilizers such as plant ash, lime nitrogen, lime, calcium, magnesium and phosphate fertilizers. The main component of human and animal feces is nitrogen, and when mixed with strong alkaline fertilizers, it will fail due to neutralization.


Superphosphate cannot be mixed with grass ash, lime nitrogen, lime, and other alkaline fertilizers, otherwise it will reduce the effectiveness of phosphorus. Phosphate rock powder, bone powder and other insoluble phosphate fertilizers can not be mixed with alkaline fertilizers such as grass ash and lime nitrogen, otherwise they will neutralize the organic acid substances in the soil, making insoluble phosphate fertilizers more difficult to dissolve and crops unable to absorb and use.


Alkaline fertilizers such as calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer cannot be mixed with ammonium nitrogen fertilizer. If alkaline fertilizers are mixed with ammonium nitrogen fertilizers such as ammonium bicarbonate, ammonium sulfate, ammonium nitrate, etc., the volatilization loss of nitrogen will be increased and the fertilizer efficiency will be reduced.


Uncooked farmyard fertilizers cannot be mixed with ammonium nitrate, otherwise unfamiliar farmyard manure will lose nitrogen during decomposition and rot and reduce fertilizer efficiency.


Chemical fertilizers cannot be mixed with bacterial fertilizers. Chemical fertilizers have strong corrosiveness, volatility and water absorption. If they are used in combination with rhizobia and other bacterial fertilizers, they will kill or inhibit active bacteria and make bacterial fertilizers ineffective.
