On September 28, Arkema (China) Investment Co., Ltd. announced in Guangzhou that its new plant in Changshu, China, will produce KYNAR PVDF resin in early 2011, including Arkema's flagship brand resin KYNAR 500.
KYNAR PVDF resin sales have increased significantly since Arkema was introduced to the Asian market in the 1990s, especially KYNAR 500 sales. Arkema has clearly seen the importance of Asia's current business development strategy. The commissioning of the Changshu new plant will allow Arkema to maintain closer ties with its Asian customers.
