Tuesday night around 12:45 AM, a fire broke out at Cermak and Michigan. The building involved was a dry cleaner with a yoga studio on the upper floor. When I arrived, the bow string truss had already collapsed completely, which is pretty rare to see. The fire didnâ€™t spread to either of the adjacent buildings, which is good news. For those familiar with the area, this was in the old "Automobile Row" district, a historic part of Chicago. Itâ€™s interesting to see how these older structures still stand, even after so many years.
